My mother visited me one Easter Sunday years ago.
She asked me to take her to an Easter mass at a nearby church.
Because it was my mother who asked, I took her although many years earlier I had stopped going to church.
In his sermon, the minister proclaimed that the resurrection of Jesus is so important that Time Magazine did a nine-page cover story on the topic.
Earlier, I had read the piece in Time.
The minister failed to say that in the Time’s piece it was noted that in excess of ninety percent of theologians agreed that the resurrection did not happen, i.e., it’s fiction.
Such is the normal deception of religion.
